   Class Schedules

Allegro Ballet emphasizes a strong classical technique by incorporating a ballet barre warm-up and a flow of movement that suggests a sense of energy, freedom, and joy. Ballet can work magic on the mind and body as it imparts leanness and flexibility to muscles and limbs. Ballet technique incorporated on the Pilates Allegro Reformer will promote the following:

• Build strength without "bulking up"
• Increase flexibility and agility
• Develop optimal core control
• Create flat abdominals, slender thighs & a strong back
• A refreshing mind-body workout
• Challenging yet safe


Allegro Circuit - classes are limited to five people per class to ensure top quality instruction.  Allegro Circuit allows women to draw on the energy of their peers to better meet their fitness outcomes.  Clients are required to first pass to better meet their fitness outcomes.  Clients are required to first pass through Body Design's Pilates testing as additional insurance that each client will receive the maximum benefit possible.  All classes are taught by a certified Pilates instructor.
 


Pilates Mat Class - embraces the basic principles Pilates is based on. Focus is on core stabilization, axial elongation, spine articulation and breathing. Movement integration is also used. Increase your flexibility, re-align, re-shape and tone your body with this class.
 


Reebok Core Board - originally designed to aid in the rehabilitation of athletes, the classes are now used by people of all ages and abilities. The core board itself is an adjustable balance board that sits on top of a set of springs and move in three axial planes.  The innovative piece of equipment serves as a tool to increase balance, improve cardiovascular endurance, and strengthen the abdominal region.  Coupled with the dynamism of a fun, classroom environment, the classes make for a unique workout experience.  All instructors are Core Board certified.  Class size is limited to twelve people.
 


Yoga - is more than just a physical manipulation of the body into its various poses.  It is also using the breath and mind.  Connecting the body and mind helps to develop an awareness of self.  Once this mental-physical connection is made, you can relieve your tensions.  Yoga works on this philosophy.  Being connected, you will find a positive mental outlook and your health and wellness improves.  Several styles of yoga have emerged over time, ours focuses on breath, muscle relaxation and strengthening and a final meditation to clear the mind.  Dress comfortably and prepare to be enlightened!
